2. Shipping & Freight Delivery

Q: How are small tools vs. heavy machinery shipped?

A: Smaller tools and accessories ship via standard parcel carriers (UPS, FedEx, DHL). Heavy or oversized equipment is shipped via Freight (LTL/FTL truck carriers) on pallets or crates to ensure safe transport.

Q: What is "Liftgate Service," and do I need it for freight shipments?

A: A liftgate is a hydraulic platform on the back of the delivery truck that lowers heavy equipment from the truck bed to ground level.

  • If you have a loading dock or a forklift: You do not need a liftgate.

  • If you are delivering to a standard ground-level facility or residence without a forklift: You will need a liftgate service at checkout to safely unload your machinery.

Q: What should I do when my shipment arrives?

A: Before signing the delivery driver's receipt, inspect the outside of the crate or pallet for any visible damage. If you notice broken wood, crushed boxes, or torn wrapping, write "Damaged Equipment" directly on the driver's bill of lading before signing, and contact us immediately.
